This page summarizes the data Dissecting AI collects, how it is used, and which third-party processors are involved.

> privacy.data_collected()

We collect account data such as your email address, password hash, email-verification status, and session information.

We collect subscription and billing metadata from Paddle, such as plan, billing status, customer identifiers, and portal/invoice references. We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.

We store uploaded papers, submitted links, derived outputs such as summaries, quizzes, lectures, and audio, and operational logs needed to run the service.

We also collect analytics and product-usage information to understand performance, diagnose issues, and improve the product.

> privacy.use_of_data()

We use data to authenticate users, operate subscriptions, process uploaded papers, deliver generated learning materials, send transactional emails, secure the service, and provide support.

We may also use aggregated usage information for product analytics, reliability work, and service improvement.

> privacy.location()

Dissecting AI is designed so application-controlled processing and storage should remain in the European Union.

Third-party providers are selected in part because they represent that relevant processing occurs in the EU. As a practical matter, however, we rely on those provider statements and cannot independently guarantee every aspect of their infrastructure, routing, safeguards, or operations at all times.
