These terms govern access to the Dissecting AI website, subscriptions, and paper-processing features.

> terms.accounts()

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You must provide an email address you control. Email verification is required before you can start a paid subscription.

You must only upload or process content that you are allowed to use with the service.

> terms.subscriptions()

Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions billed through Paddle.

Plan pricing and limits are shown on the subscribe page. The published page limits are lecture-equivalent limits; actual total pages vary by processing tier because lighter tiers consume fewer credits per page.

Paddle sends receipts, invoices, and subscription lifecycle emails for paid billing events.

You can cancel through the billing portal. In normal cases, cancellation prevents renewal and access remains available until the current paid period ends.

> terms.refunds()

Refunds are available upon request. If you have used any credits in the current billing period, only a partial refund is available based on unused credits.

The refund amount is calculated as: (unused credits / total credits) × amount charged for the current billing period.

Approved refunds cancel your subscription immediately and revoke access to paid features.

Full refunds are available only when no credits have been used in the current billing period.

> terms.acceptable_use()

You may not use the service for unlawful, abusive, infringing, or service-disruptive activity.

We may suspend or limit access for abuse, non-payment, security concerns, or violations of these terms.

> terms.service()

The service may change over time. Features, pricing, and limits may be updated prospectively.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a specific uptime commitment for this self-serve product.

Most paper-related outputs and lecture audio are AI-generated and may not be perfectly accurate or free from minor glitches. You remain responsible for reviewing important outputs against the source material.
